I can’t speak to GAS, as I am not sure what you mean by that. And I am not a researcher, so I only like to write about what I personally have experienced. For me, “burnout” occurs when I fail to reinvent myself, not necessarily because I have constantly reinvented (or I am tired of reinventing). Implied in 2 of the 3 types of reinvention is that there is an objective that you are chasing.

I usually find chasing goals and ultimately, my purpose, very fulfilling and exciting. For me, burnout comes from other factors, like physical fatigue, negative anxiety from others, or lack of sleep.

But now I am brainstorming an article about a time that I was burned out… back to writing… :)

Thanks for reading and responding. I love thinking about reinvention. Stay in touch!

I only write about what I have done: no theory. Writer, Attorney, Entrepreneur, Movie Producer, and more… the ONLY 3 ways to reinvent: goo.gl/S1Lu6x
